I am available to do talks. I am very happy to do talks on Zoom if it is not practical to do them in person. Possible topics include:
- Double primroses – history and cultivation – a talk described by one audience member as entrancing!
- Fancy and Feathered – primrose and cowslip variations
- Hardy Nerines – includes the history of the introduction of Nerine bowdenii to the UK, and pictures taken while plant hunting in South Africa of nerines in their natural habitat
- Herbaceous peonies – focusing on the seductive Victorian and Edwardian cultivars
- The work of Plant Heritage – conservation of cultivated plants
- Daffodils – Royal ladies and rural parsons
